Creamy macaroni salad is an easy pasta salad served as a scrumptious side dish for BBQ and grilling recipes. This salad is also called Russian salad with macaroni and can be prepared in advance, chilled and served exactly when required. The preparation of this creamy pasta salad is so easy that you can whip it up and serve it within twenty minutes. As always I have shared detailed step by step recipe for your ease. Do give it a try and enjoy.



  1. Boil the macaroni as per package instructions and keep aside. Do not over cook the macaroni a bite should be remained in macaroni.

  2. Cut potato, carrots, apple and pineapple in diced shape. Also finely cut the cabbage.

  3. In boiling water add peas and potatoes and let these boil till tender completely. Drain the excess water and keep aside.

  4. Now prepare the dressing for salad. In a mixing bowl add mayonnaise, cream, salt and white pepper powder. Give a mix to everything and salad dressing is ready.

  5. In a wide bowl add boiled macaroni, pineapple, carrots, cabbage, apple, boiled peas and potatoes.

  6. Spread vinegar over it.

  7. Pour the salad dressing on it and give a good mix to everything.

  8. Chill the salad in refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving.

  9. Our 20 minutes creamy macaroni salad is ready to enjoy.

  10. __________ Note: I used whipping cream in this recipe as it was already sweet that's why I did not added sugar. You may use fresh cream for this recipe as well.

  11. If you want to add sugar, add a tablespoon of powdered sugar in the salad.
