As the school year progresses and piles of school work stack up, finding motivation to keep your nutrition in check becomes hard. With class and so much homework on your plate it is not easy and generally becomes difficult to have proper meals. Finding time to make healthy food is often left to the way side. But I am here for your rescue with the recipe of this quick and fabulous smoothie. In an attempt to eat healthier in college I have tried to make smoothies in my dorm room and it was one of the greatest decision I have made in my life. I already shared recipe of dorm room peaches and cream oatmeal smoothie on my website and this dorm room tropical green smoothie recipe is also one that I have tested and completely love. Before you plan your smoothie making session, you will need a blender that can crush Ice or frozen fruit, hence the name smoothie.

For basic smoothie keep in mind the ratio should be 1 cup liquid per 2 cup of frozen fruit. Frozen fruit gives your smoothie a strong flavor. The recipe of this tropical green smoothie is green but does not taste like it is. It is tropical and it has beautiful tropical, really satisfying and yummy flavor. This tropical green smoothie is great for a grab and go breakfast as it can be made in minutes. This dorm friendly tropical green smoothie is packed with right nutrients for your body and will boost energy and metabolism. I have used spinach but you may substitute it with kale or cucumber or celery as well. Feel free to use one or more type of greens in your smoothie.

  1. Add all the ingredients in a blender and blend it well until super creamy and smooth.

  2. Enjoy your creamy dorm room tropical and green smoothie.

I experienced that cooking doesn't need to be threatening. I didn't figure out how to cook as a child. No treats or cakes with Grandma. Never helping mother cook meals. I needed to learn as a grown-up, due to legitimate need. I needed to figure out how to cook. So I just began cooking. It was unpleasant from the outset. I attempted to sear garlic, and everything turned green. It was one Pinterest fall flat after the other until I at least began to get its hang. For some time, I; despised cooking feared it with each fiber of my being. And one day; I, began anticipating it. I would be at my work area and begin pondering what I could make for supper. I began to get amped up for evaluating new plans, concocting something all alone, or utilizing new fixings. It got fun. Also, that is something I need to impart to you. Cooking is fun and energizing, and regardless of whether you think you will suck at it, recall, even I can cook.
