Cutlets came in various shapes and flavors like chicken, fish and vegetable but one thing is common among all cutlets, they are crispy and addictively delicious. 

Pizza cutlet is a tasty and unique fusion snack made with cutlet ingredients and stuffed with pizza topping. Pizza is surely one of the favorite food of kids due to its endless toppings and delicious melt in mouth cheese. As interesting as pizza cutlet sound this recipe will not only be loved by kids but by the people of all ages. You can prepare these kids special pizza cutlets for your next pot luck or party as the recipe is quick and easy to make. This pizza cutlet for kids recipe used boiled and mashed potatoes as outer crust but you may also make these with any other vegetable or even your desired meat. You may also use any kind of vegetable mix with cheese, herbs and spices to create the ultimate pizza stuffing, I used chicken as a base for stuffing.   1. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan over medium flame and add cumin seeds and fry for 20-25 seconds.

  2. Add cumin powder, garam masala powder, chilli flakes, red chilli powder, black pepper powder, turmeric and salt in the pan along with 1-2 tablespoon of water. Fry the masala for a minute.

  3. Add boiled and shredded chicken in the pan and combine well with the masala. Cook for a minute.

  4. Turn off the flame and then add grated carrot, chopped capsicum, chopped tomato and fresh coriander, mix well.

  5. Take this stuffing out of the pan and keep aside.

  6. For preparing crust for pizza cutlet take the boiled and mashed potatoes in a bowl.

  7. Add chopped coriander, all purpose flour, garam masala powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt, black  pepper powder and oregano in the potatoes and combine well. Use your hands for a fine mixing.

  8. Grease your hands with some oil and take a portion of this potato mixture, shape it into a ball and then flatten it slightly.

  9. Stuff grated mozzarella and cheddar cheese along with prepared stuffing, seal it tightly forming a round ball. You may make small or big size pizza cutlet as per your choice.

  10. Now press slightly to flatten it and shape into a cutlet, you may give the shape of your choice to cutlet and keep it aside.

  11. Do the same process with compete mixture and make cutlets.

  12. One by one dip the cutlet first in beaten eggs and then coat with bread crumbs, keep aside.

  13. Heat cooking oil in a frying pan, shallow fry the pizza cutlet for 1 minute over medium flame from one side. Then flip and cook from other side for 1 minute more.

  14. Take out over the absorbing paper to remove the excess oil. 

  15. Tasty and healthy pizza cutlet for kids are ready to serve with ketchup or dip of your choice.
