Although you can make these easily using puff pastry sheets but still I am sharing here the recipe of making handmade dough for these nutella twists.   1. For preparing the dough in 1/2 cup luke warm water add 3 tablespoon sugar, instant yeast and give a mix.

  2. Cover and let it rest for 10-15 minutes so that yeast could activate.

  3. In a mixing bowl add beaten egg, melted butter, salt and warm milk, mix well.

  4. Add dissolved yeast mixture in these wet ingredients and combine well.

  5. Add 3 cups sifted all purpose flour in this wet mixture and mix it, if required add remaining 1/2 cup of all purpose flour and knead well until dough is formed.

  6. Grease the dough with some cooking oil, cover and let it rest for 1 hour or until doubled in size. Place at some warm place for proofing.

  7. After the dough is rise, knead it again, then sprinkle some all purpose flour and roll the dough with a rolling pin in rectangular shape. 

  8. Cut the dough in two equal halves.

  9. Spread the nutella spread over one part of this sheet, place the other half over the first one like a sandwich.

  10. Now cut into equal 1x17 inch size strips. 

  11. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, place nutella strips over this sheet, hold one end carefully and twist it several times until it from a spiral shape. Let it again rest for 20 minutes.

  12. Bake in pre heated oven at 180 ℃ for 10 minutes. 

  13. If you are baking these without oven, in a wide pot add 1 pack of salt in the base, place a steam rack or wire stand to build some height from the bottom of pot. Pre heat it on high flame for 15 minutes. Then place the baking tray of nutella twists in it and bake these over medium low flame for 10-12 minutes.
