  1. In luke warm milk add yeast along with sugar, give a mix and let the yeast ferment for 5-10 minutes.

In a mixing bowl add flour, cooking oil, salt along with fermented yeast mixture. Mix everything.

Knead the mixture well to form soft dough.

Grease the dough and the bowl with oil in which we are going to rest the dough, cover the bowl and let the dough proof for 1-2 hours in a warm place.

For garlic butter filling melt the butter and add chopped coriander, salt, chili flakes, black pepper powder in it. Give a mix to everything and garlic butter mixture is ready.

In a big pot in which you are going to bake the bread add a layer of salt in the bottom. Cover the pot and let it pre heat on very slow flame.

After the dough is doubled in size take it out and divide it in two portions. ( I made two small size breads but you can make a one family size bread as per your choice).

Dust some flour on the work surface and roll it.

Apply some garlic butter mixture in the rolled dough, spread some finely chopped onions and cheese in it. Fold the dough and seal the sides.

Brush the same garlic butter mixture in the bottom of pan in which you are going to bake the bread.

Put the bread dough in pan, make some cuts on the top of bread and brush some garlic butter mixture

  2. on top as well. ( Do not make deep cuts in bread just on to layer).

Put the baking pan in pre heated pot, cover the pot and bake on slow flame for 30-35 minutes. Do not uncover the pot in the middle of baking.

After 30 minutes the bread will be ready. If it is not golden from top flip its side, cover the pot again and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Take out the bread, brush some garlic butter oil on top, cut the bread.

For some time, I; despised cooking feared it with each fiber of my being. And one day; I, began anticipating it. I would be at my work area and begin pondering what I could make for supper.
