Chicken 65 biryani is a special kind of biryani from regular biryani. The process of biryani making is itself lengthy and making chicken 65 biryani is a step more lengthy then the regular one. I have prepared this recipe in a large quantity but you can reduce the quantity as per your choice. Do give this super spicy tasty chicken 65 biryani a try and receive appreciation of your family.



  1. ____________ For Rice Cooking ______________

  2. Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes.

  3. In a big pot add enough water for boiling the rice.

  4. Add salt, oil, vinegar, and the whole spices in the water and let it boil.

  5. When it starts to boil add soaked rice in it, let these boil until completely done.

  6. Take out in a strainer and drain the water.

  7. _______________ For Biryani Masala _________________

  8. In  a pan add cooking oil and heat it on medium high flame.

  9. Add sliced onion and let these cook till golden brown in color. Take some out for layring biryani.

  10. Add chopped tomatoes and cook for a minute on medium flame.

  11. Then add ginger garlic paste and fry a minute.

  12. Fry the masala by adding little water so it may not burn.

  13. Now add all the spices of biryani masala (turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, green chilies) and cook these for a minute.

  14. Mix sugar in the yogurt and add in the prepared masala.

  15. Now add garam masala and salt and again give a mix.

  16. Mix the prepared chicken 65 with this biryani masala. Then add little bit of water fro gravy in it.

  17. As the chicken is already cooked so just give a mix and add boiled rice in it.

  18. Sprinkle brown onion, chopped mint and coriander leaves on top.

  19. Mix the color with water and pour it on top of rice as well.

  20. Cover the lid of pot with a kitchen towel and steam cook the rice on low flame for 20-25 minutes.

  21. Give a mix and take out the rice in serving plate.

  22. Spicy Hyderabadi chicken 65 biryani is ready to enjoy.
