Chocolate sauce or chocolate syrup is a sweet chocolate flavored condiment that used to add chocolate flavor to the desserts or as a topping for cakes or various desserts. Also it is used on ice creams or mixed with milk to make a chocolate shake or chocolate ice cream shake.

First bloom the cocoa powder. Take hot water in a bowl and add cocoa powder in it. Mix well and keep it aside.
In a pan add milk, sugar, all purpose flour, cooking oil salt along with bloomed cocoa powder. Mix well.
Turn on the heat under the pan and cook for few minutes. It will start to get thick very quickly.
Turn off the heat and take the pan off the stove.
Put a strainer on a bowl and strain the sauce well through it to remove the lumps from it.
Silky smooth homemade chocolate syrup or sauce is ready.
