Gram flour is called besan in India Pakistan and barfi is traditional fudge. So basically besan ki barfi is traditional gram flour fudge.
Here I am sharing the easiest way of making quick besan barfi at home as it can be ready in only 15 minutes. This is a 3 ingredient besan barfi and also no suagr syrup besan barfi. This instant besan barfi recipe is one of my family favorite as it tastes delicious and quick to prepare. One can also pack this besan burfi in sweet gift box to give away on festivals. This besan ki barfi is beginner’s friendly and there is no way you can mess it up.
In a pan add ghee and heat it over medium flame. (I used non stick pan so the mixture may not stick to the bottom).
Add besan in the melted ghee, mix well.
Roast the besan over medium low heat while stirring it continuously. This will take about 12-15 minutes to roast and it will change its color. Also besan will turn aromatic after it is roasted completely.
When the besan is completely roasted you will notice the ghee is started to separate from besan.
Add powdered sugar in the besan along with cardamom powder.
Mix well till the besan and sugar became smooth and the mixture completely combined.
Grease a dish with ghee and add butter paper in the bottom.
Pour the prepared besan barfi mixture in the prepared dish and smooth the surface with the help of a spatula.
Spread chopped almonds and pistachios over the top and press gently with the help of spatula.
Let the barfi set on room temperature for at least 4-5 hours.
After barfi is set completely cut it in he shape of your choice and enjoy.
