Sheer Khurma is a classic dessert of India Pakistan subcontinent. Sheer khurma is a rich & thick vermicelli pudding made with milk, lots of dry fruits, dates and sugar. This dish is a traditional food of Muslims of subcontinent on Eid. For us Pakistani's Eid is almost incomplete without sheer khurma or vermicelli dessert. I am very fond of this sweet dish on eid made by my Ami. I tried so many versions of this dish but the one that prepared by my mother is the most delicious one ever.

Here I am sharing an easy version of this sheer khurma "instant sheer khurma mix recipe". This is a very quick recipe and you can make it in 10 minutes with this instant mix.   1. In a pan add vermicelli, dried dates, crushed almonds, crushed pistachio, crushed coconut, green cardamom.

  2. Dry roast all the ingredients on very low flame for 2-3 minutes.

  3. Take the mixture out in a bowl and let it come to the room temperature.

  4. Add sugar in it and give a mix to everything.

  5. Homemade instant sheer khurma mix is ready. Store it in any airtight jar for up to 6 months easily.

  7. In a pan add milk and let it boil on medium flame.

  8. Then add prepared homemade sheer khurma mix and sugar in it. Give a mix to everything.

  9. Cook it on medium flame for 5-7 minutes or until the desired consistency achieved.

  10. Take out in the serving dish, garnish with chopped dry fruits.

  11. Serve chilled and enjoy.
