This dish is a traditional food of Muslims of subcontinent on Eid. For us Pakistani's Eid is almost incomplete without sheer khurma or vermicelli dessert. I am very fond of this sweet dish on eid made by my Ami. I tried so many versions of this dish but the one that prepared by my mother is the most delicious one ever.

In a pan add vermicelli, dried dates, crushed almonds, crushed pistachio, crushed coconut, green cardamom.
Dry roast all the ingredients on very low flame for 2-3 minutes.
Take the mixture out in a bowl and let it come to the room temperature.
Add sugar in it and give a mix to everything.
Homemade instant sheer khurma mix is ready. Store it in any airtight jar for up to 6 months easily.

In a pan add milk and let it boil on medium flame.
Then add prepared homemade sheer khurma mix and sugar in it. Give a mix to everything.
Cook it on medium flame for 5-7 minutes or until the desired consistency achieved.
Take out in the serving dish, garnish with chopped dry fruits.
Serve chilled and enjoy.
