Chocolate cravings cannot be ignored and sometimes you need a chocolate cake but you do not want o go for fancy cake pans or do not have baking ovens. I already shared recipes of few microwave cakes on my website and this one is personally my favorite. I used to make it often late at night when I have chocolate craving and cannot afford to go out. This cake was my support at that time. Although it can be baked in baking oven or even without oven but as i want a quick treat so when i tried it in microwave it turned out great. I recommend to try it once, a very easy, dorm friendly recipe and a treat for kids. The recipe uses very easy to available ingredients and do not over think as what kind of milk is used, or if we can use coffee in it or type of oil. The simple ingredients available in every Pakistani or Indian household can be used in this recipe.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. In a bowl put together all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, coco powder, baking soda, salt and combine well.
  2. Now add egg, cooking oil, vanilla and milk and blend everything together for 2 minutes.
  3. Now mix in boiling water and gently mix with the spatula as the batter will be very thin.
  4. In a microwave safe dish or any glass dish put a butter paper in the bottom.
  5. Pour the mixture inside the baking dish and put in the microwave on high power for 8-10 minutes or until a tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. For frosting melt the cooking chocolate or chocolate chips in the microwave for 30 seconds increments, stir after every 30 second until the chocolate melts completely.
  7. Take the cake out of oven and let it cool down completely.
  8. Now add in fresh cream and vanilla and mix together till everything well combined. (I did not used sugar in the frosting but if you want you can add powdered sugar in it).
  9. Pour this frosting over the cooled cake and spread evenly with a spatula.
  10. Your cake is ready to enjoy.
  11. ____________________Note: If you want to bake this into oven pre heat the oven at 350 F or 180 °C for 10 minutes and bake the cake for 35-40 minutes in it.

I experienced that cooking doesn't need to be threatening. I didn't figure out how to cook as a child. No treats or cakes with Grandma. Never helping mother cook meals. I needed to learn as a grown-up, due to legitimate need. I needed to figure out how to cook. So I just began cooking. It was unpleasant from the outset. I attempted to sear garlic, and everything turned green. It was one Pinterest fall flat after the other until I at least began to get its hang. For some time, I; despised cooking feared it with each fiber of my being. And one day; I, began anticipating it. I would be at my work area and begin pondering what I could make for supper. I began to get amped up for evaluating new plans, concocting something all alone, or utilizing new fixings. It got fun. Also, that is something I need to impart to you. Cooking is fun and energizing, and regardless of whether you think you will suck at it, recall, even I can cook.
