Many of the recipes that you frequently make, can be divided into pre mixes that can be stored in multiple quantities for fast and easy cooking. At the time when you want to make your favorite recipe you just combine the stored pre mixed ingredients and finish the recipe.
Lot of times it so happens that you crave for tasty restaurant style food for lunch or dinner but just don’t find enough time to make everything from scratch and you don't even have time for store bought material. I don’t know about the others but during such times, making use of my homemade instant premixes for preparing different recipes makes my life easy.
These pre mix recipes are simply like store bought mixes and masala that you buy but these are made in your home kitchen.
This pulao masala mix recipe is also a homemade make a head formula . It is another addition in my pre mixes recipes. Do give it a try and share your feedback.
Ingredients
- سونف Fennel Seeds 5 tablespoon
- ثابت دھنیا Coriander seeds 5 tablespoon
- ثابت زیرہ Cumin seeds/ Zeera 2 & 1/2 tablespoon
- تیز پات Bay leaves 10 pieces
- جاوتری Mace 8-10 pieces
- جائفل Nutmeg 2 pieces
- ثابت کالی مرچیں Black pepper corns 3 tablespoon
- بڑی الائچی Black cardamom 10 pieces
- لونگ Cloves 2 tablespoon
- دار چینی Cinnamon stick 20-25 pieces
- سبز الائچی Green Cardamom 10-12 pieces
- بادیان کے پھول Star anise 10 pieces
- کباب چینی Kabab chini 1 teaspoon
- پپلی Pipli 4-5 pieces
- کُٹی لال مرچیں Chili Flakes 2 tablespoon
- نمک Salt 2 tablespoon
- پسی ہوئی سفید مرچیں White pepper powder 2 tablespoon
Directions
Grind all spices into a fine powder.
Then Add chili flakes, salt and white pepper powder in it and mix well.
Home made pulao masala is ready.
Store in any airtight spice jar, this will remain good for 4-5 months easily.

For 1 kg chicken and 1 kg rice use 3 tablespoons of this pulao masala. But if you want a spicy taste add 1 tablespoon more masala as per your choice.
