Chatkhara Beef Boti in first step is prepared just like some other beef recipes but the real taste is came from the spices that we use to fry the beef. These are the things that made this chatkhara beef boti tender, juicy and packed with flavors. I hope you will also enjoy this Pakistani beef boti recipe just like my family. As always I have shared a detailed step by step recipe for your ease. Do try and enjoy it.
In a pressure cooker add beef cubes, garlic, sliced onion, ginger paste, cinnamon stick, bay leaf and salt.
Add 1 glass of water, give a mix to everything and put the lid of pressure cooker.
Put the cooker on medium flame and let the beef cook for 15 minutes or until the beef gets tender. (the timing may vary for cooking the beef in accordance with the pressure cooker you are using).
After the time take the lid off and cook the beef again on high flame now so that the water remaining in it should be dried.
Take out the beef in a bowl and remove bay leaf and cinnamon stick from it.
Now add the frying spices in the beef. Add salt, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chili flakes, red chili powder, Black pepper powder, corn flour and garam masala. Give a good mix to everything so that beef could be well coated with masala.
Add tomato ketchup and lemon juice in the beef. Mix these as well.
Heat cooking oil in a pan for deep frying the beef.
One by one add the beef boti in it and let these deep fried on medium to low flame for 4-5 minutes.
After 1- 2 minutes flip the side of the beef boti and let it cook again.
After frying take out beef boti in a strainer and drain the excess oil from it.
Serve this fried chatkhara beef boti with green chatni.
